Huamin Shares said its main business has not seen any major change after its stock triggered an abnormal trading fluctuation notice. According to Jin10, the company issued an announcement stating that its share price recorded a cumulative closing-price deviation of more than 30% over two consecutive trading days, which meets the Shenzhen Stock Exchange definition of abnormal stock price volatility. Huamin Shares said its core business is the research and development, production, and sales of photovoltaic silicon rods and silicon wafers, and that this business has not changed significantly as of now. The company said that due to cyclical factors in the photovoltaic industry, prices across the industry chain have remained at low levels and have not shown an obvious trend of change so far. Against this backdrop, it said its overall profitability is under pressure.
