Cardano Wallet Provider SecondFi Updates Recovery After Security Incident

Cardano wallet service provider SecondFi has issued an update on its recovery progress following a security incident. According to Foresight News, EMURGO has established an asset recovery process to return assets to users affected by the attack. SecondFi said it has protected and can access part of the assets through emergency measures, and the team is discussing an appropriate custody mechanism with Intersect to ensure a secure return. The team is also working with a Cardano community-led task force to advance an on-chain recovery plan. SecondFi noted that the plan is more complex than previously expected, and the recovery timeline may extend beyond the original estimate of 2 weeks.
