VELVET surged 306% over the past seven days to trade above $1.80, making it last week’s top-performing altcoin. The rally followed a sharp early-June correction that pushed the token toward $0.30, according to BeInCrypto, as buyers returned after Velvet migrated 100% of its protocol-owned liquidity on Base to Aerodrome Finance and launched synthetic pre-IPO markets, including a SpaceX feature. BeInCrypto said volume rose with the move, while Velvet’s market cap is around $800 million versus about $770,000 in total value locked.
