China A-Share Indexes Open Mixed; Semiconductor, Appliances Lead Gains

China’s A-share benchmarks opened mixed, with the Shanghai Composite down 0.01%, the Shenzhen Component slightly lower, and the ChiNext Index up 0.15%, according to 36Kr. Petrochemicals, shipping and telecom equipment led declines, with China Merchants Energy Shipping down more than 3%, and Hengli Petrochemical and Tianfu Communication down more than 2%. Semiconductors, home appliances and gas stocks outperformed, with Galaxycore Microelectronics and Changhong Meiling hitting their daily limit-up, while Shengtong Energy rose nearly 7%.
