Serenity Calls Schaeffler AG an Ideal Example of Automakers Entering Humanoid Robotics

Serenity said in a post on X that Schaeffler AG is an “ideal example” of how the automotive industry can enter the humanoid robotics sector. According to Odaily, Serenity stated that Schaeffler AG has a market capitalization of about 7.5 billion euros and has already begun cooperating with around 45 humanoid robot companies. Serenity said Schaeffler’s business covers core components including bearings, gearboxes, sensors and ECUs, actuators, and power electronics. It added that, in theory, the company could account for about 50% of a humanoid robot’s bill of materials cost. Serenity noted that despite the potential for high penetration, Schaeffler currently expects to achieve only several hundred million euros in revenue by 2030.
