Stablecoin Searches Fall 54% in June as Market Cap Holds Near $313.2 Billion

Search interest in stablecoins declined in June even as usage indicators and market size remained sizable. According to NS3.AI, Google Trends data showed search volume for “stablecoins” fell 54% month over month in June. On the market side, DeFiLlama data put total stablecoin market capitalization at around $313.2 billion on June 27. In payments activity, Visa’s stablecoin settlement pilot reached a $7 billion annualized run rate in April. The update also noted that Stripe rolled out USDC-denominated Treasury balances for businesses in 101 previously unsupported countries.
