Cathie Wood said multiomics could become one of the most far-reaching applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, citing research from ARK Invest. According to Odaily, she said combining multiomics technologies with AI could enable early disease diagnosis before any physical symptoms appear and reduce the cost and time required for new drug research and development, accelerating the development and delivery of new therapies.
Wood also said this trend could shift healthcare from traditional “sickcare” toward health management, moving from passive treatment to proactive prevention.
