Stani Kulechov Says Potential U.K. ISA Cash Interest Tax Could Boost DeFi Savings Appeal

Aave founder Stani Kulechov said the U.K. government is considering taxing interest earned on cash held in Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs). According to Foresight News, he wrote on X that such a move would reduce the advantage of cash ISAs compared with standard savings accounts and interest income from lending. Kulechov added that if the change is implemented, the relative attractiveness of DeFi savings products, described as DeFi Earn, could increase.
