STOCKS | Montage Technology AGM Sees 14%-16% Opposition on Four Resolutions

Montage Technology, which listed in February, saw unusually high dissent at its annual general meeting held in Shanghai on Tuesday afternoon, according to Ming Pao. Although all resolutions were passed by a majority, four items drew 14% to 16% votes against. The contested resolutions covered approval of an external guarantee quota, a general mandate to issue H shares, proposed sub-limits for service providers, and authorization for the board and/or plan administrator to handle matters related to an H-share incentive plan. Votes against on the four resolutions exceeded 71 million to 84 million shares, each higher than the company’s total H-share count.
