Kalshi Partners With StarCompliance to Offer Real-Time Employee Trade Monitoring for Financial Institutions

Kalshi, a U.S. regulated prediction market trading platform, has partnered with financial compliance services provider StarCompliance to offer real-time monitoring of employees’ Kalshi account trading for financial institutions. According to Odaily, the service is aimed at addressing concerns among financial institutions that employees could use non-public internal information to trade on platforms such as Kalshi, creating potential insider trading compliance risks. Under the partnership, StarCompliance’s compliance system will connect to employees’ Kalshi accounts held under participating institutions. The system will automatically identify and flag abnormal or suspicious trading activity to support internal risk controls and compliance self-checks. StarCompliance said the system currently provides only real-time trade monitoring. It plans to add a pre-trade approval module and expand coverage to include blockchain-based prediction market platforms such as Polymarket.
