Trading activity tied to the FIFA World Cup has increased on Hyperliquid’s HIP-4 prediction markets since the tournament opened on June 11 (UTC). According to Odaily, Hyperinsight monitoring showed that World Cup-related sections on HIP-4 saw trading volume rise 202% over the past seven days compared with the prior period, while crypto-related sections fell 53%. Data cited in the report said total HIP-4 trading volume reached $16.32 million over the past seven days, with about $9.63 million coming from World Cup-related markets, making them one of the main trading themes on the platform during that period.
