STOCKS | Midland Holdings Expects Pretax Profit of About HK$300 Million for 5 Months

Midland Holdings (1200) issued a profit alert, forecasting pretax profit of about HK$300 million for the five months ended May 31, 2026. According to Ming Pao, this compares with pretax profit of about HK$179 million for the interim period ended late June last year, representing an increase of about 69%. The company also expects pretax profit and profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended late June this year to rise significantly and to reach a 20-year high for interim results.
