Woori Bank Partners With CrossHub to Develop Digital Wallet for Foreign Visitors

Woori Bank has signed a business agreement with CrossHub to develop a digital wallet aimed at foreign visitors in South Korea, with a launch targeted for the second half of the year. According to NS3.AI, the partnership also includes plans to test foreign currency-based stablecoins for use in domestic payments. The companies said the collaboration will focus on building the wallet service and evaluating how stablecoins tied to foreign currencies could function in local payment scenarios.
