Brazilian Real and Mexican Peso Expected to Depreciate, Reuters Survey Finds

A recent Reuters survey indicates that the Brazilian real is projected to depreciate by 3.7% over the next six months, reaching 5.20 per U.S. dollar. According to Jin10, the currency is expected to further decline by 5.5% over the next 12 months, reaching 5.30 per U.S. dollar, compared to a previous forecast of 5.25 per U.S. dollar in May. Meanwhile, the Mexican peso is anticipated to depreciate by 3.6% over the next 12 months, reaching 17.92 per U.S. dollar, with the May survey predicting a rate of 17.87 per U.S. dollar.
