Standard Chartered's Kendrick Predicts 40% ETH Outperformance Over BTC

Standard Chartered's head of digital asset research, Geoffrey Kendrick, forecasts that ether (ETH) could outperform bitcoin (BTC) by over 40% from current levels, following Strategy's recent BTC sale. According to CoinDesk, Kendrick suggests the ETH-BTC ratio could rise to 0.04 by year-end, driven by ether's ability to generate staking income, unlike bitcoin treasuries that may need to sell assets to cover obligations. Despite a 66% depreciation since Ethereum's transition to proof-of-stake in 2022, ETH has rebounded 60% from its lows, signaling a potential shift in market dynamics.
