CFTC Appoints DJ Hennes as Director of Market Participants Division

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced the appointment of DJ Hennes as the Director of the Market Participants Division. According to Foresight News, Hennes previously worked in the financial services risk and compliance consulting department at KPMG and spent 15 years at Promontory Financial Group, where he led the Americas capital markets business. CFTC Chairman Michael Selig stated that Hennes' experience in crypto assets and prediction markets will contribute to the forward-looking development of CFTC regulatory rules.
