The median forecast suggests a rise from March's 3.4% to 3.85%. According to Jin10, analysts from Citi Research attribute the potential increase to unfavorable base effects in food inflation and strengthening core inflation momentum. Dhiraj Nim from ANZ Research noted in a report that oil price shocks and rising input cost pressures are likely to drive further acceleration in India's inflation rate in the coming months. The relevant data is scheduled for release on Tuesday.
