Hua Medicine said its core diabetes drug Hatuoning, or dorzagliatin, generated 379 million yuan in net sales in the first half of 2026, up 74% year on year, as sales reached 3.055 million boxes, according to Jiemian News. By the end of 2025, Hua Medicine had built a nationwide sales team of 130 representatives and more than 50 staff in marketing, medical affairs and commercial operations; by June 30, 2026, the sales force had expanded to 187 representatives. Hua Medicine said Hatuoning's gross margin rose to 61.8% in the first half of 2026 from 56.9% in 2025 and 48.7% in 2024.
