Twenty One Capital and Cantor Equity Partners Announce Merger Approval

According to PANews, Twenty One Capital, Inc. and Cantor Equity Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEP) have announced that CEP shareholders approved the proposed business merger between the two companies during a special meeting held on December 3. The approval includes all related proposals concerning the merger. Following this shareholder approval and contingent upon the fulfillment or waiver of certain conditions outlined in the final prospectuses of both CEP and Twenty One, the merger and associated PIPE financing are expected to be completed around December 8, 2025. Upon completion of the transaction, the merged entity will operate under the name Twenty One Capital, Inc., with its Class A common stock anticipated to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "XXI" starting December 9, 2025.
