According to Odaily, former OpenAI employee Joey Bertschler is developing an instant payroll access system through his startup, Volante Chain. This system will enable employees to receive daily wages without waiting until the end of the month. Bertschler argues that the current payroll method deprives individuals of the freedom to manage their money for 30 days, particularly affecting those who rely on their salaries for daily living. Utilizing blockchain technology, the platform ensures seamless record-keeping and ledger verification. Bertschler disclosed that Volante has raised approximately $2 million from private investors, which is expected to sustain the company's operations for five years without additional funding.
