A refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region was damaged in a large-scale overnight drone attack, and a fire broke out at the site. According to Sina Finance, regional Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said 124 drones were involved and Russian air defense and electronic warfare forces intercepted them. Two refinery employees were injured by shrapnel and taken to hospital, while emergency crews worked to extinguish the fire. The facility, Slavneft-YANOS, is jointly controlled by Rosneft and Gazprom Neft and has an annual processing capacity of about 15 million metric tons, or roughly 300,000 barrels per day. It was last attacked on September 17, when damage to its main crude distillation unit halted crude processing.
