According to CNBC, the S&P 500 fell 0.1% for the week and the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1.7%, leaving several stocks in oversold territory after a volatile stretch for markets. Boeing had an RSI of 25 after shares slipped more than 5% when CEO Kelly Ortberg said production of the company's 737 Max was taking longer than expected to stabilize. Bank of America fell into oversold territory with an RSI of 28 after shares slid 8% this week, as Chief Executive Brian Moynihan said investment banking fees for the third quarter are expected to fall more than 10%. Wynn Resorts was the most oversold stock on the list with an RSI of 17 after shares fell more than 5% to a new 52-week low just above $81. Las Vegas Sands, Carrier Global and TransDigm were also oversold. On the other side of the ledger, Marathon Petroleum had an RSI of 87 and topped the overbought list after shares rose more than 7% to a record high of $428. The stock has gained 161% year to date, while Valero Energy and Phillips 66 also appeared on the overbought list.
