AI TRENDS | Kimi Launches Financial AI Solution for Institutional Use

Moonshot AI's Kimi has officially launched an AI solution for the financial sector, with early deployments at dozens of institutions including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Securities, China International Capital Corporation, and E Fund. According to PANews, the solution includes more than 10 authoritative data sources, including Wind, East Money, S&P Global, Caixin Data, and Cailian Press, and packages nine professional functions such as financial modeling, research report writing, earnings commentary, portfolio review, and Hong Kong IPO analysis. The company said the solution has reduced financial modeling cycles in some scenarios from 5 to 15 person-days to 2 to 4 person-days, while industry deep-report production has been shortened from 10 to 20 days to 2 to 4 days. Kimi and China Securities have also built a risk assessment gateway, and the company said enterprise data is not retained. It added that managed agent services support institution-level auditable deployment.
