UK Treasury Draft Would Narrow Crypto Rules for Qualifying Stablecoin Payments

HM Treasury has laid a final draft that would narrow parts of the UK crypto regulatory perimeter for qualifying stablecoin payments. According to NS3.AI, the draft would exclude some transfers and exchanges from dealing rules. Transfers that require the stablecoin to be returned could still remain regulated as lending or borrowing. The draft has not been made and is not in force.
