Valinor Digital has launched the tokenized Valinor BDC Exposure Fund, or VBDC, which holds a basket of publicly listed business development company stocks and offers qualified investors exposure to private credit returns with daily subscriptions and redemptions. According to ChainCatcher, the fund is issued as a series of Superstate Asset Trust, custodied on Superstate's FundOS platform, and managed by Valinor Digital Capital.
VBDC charges an additional 1.25% management fee on top of existing BDC fees and caps daily redemptions at 7.5% of net asset value. According to ChainCatcher, the fund's 499,157 shares have not yet been tokenized, while the VBDC token contract went live on Ethereum on September 1 with zero total supply and no transfer history.
VBDC is the fourth tokenized fund on Superstate's platform, bringing total assets on the platform above $1 billion. Valinor was founded in late 2023 by former Blackstone GSO executive Connor Dougherty and raised a $25 million seed round in March led by Castle Island Ventures, with participation from Apollo, Maven 11, and Neoclassic Capital.
