AI TRENDS | Moonshot Launches Kimi Enterprise Partner Program

Moonshot AI has launched its Kimi enterprise partner program, called the Moon Landing Plan, to build a team of Forward Deployed Engineers with IT service providers and systems integrators, according to ETNet. The company said the team will work on-site at customer locations to push large models into core enterprise business processes. It said this is the first large-model company in mainland China to use the FDE model for AI last-mile deployment. Moonshot AI said the FDE model was pioneered by U.S. data company Palantir and involves engineers being stationed at client sites and taking responsibility for business outcomes. The company added that as model capabilities such as Kimi K3 improve rapidly, the key challenge for enterprise AI has shifted from the technology itself to scaled implementation. Initial signed partners include China National Software & Service Company (00354), Kingsoft Cloud (03896), Teamsun (SSE: 600410), Yacang (SZSE: 301085) and AsiaInfo Technologies (01675). The program will remain open to IT service providers, software service providers and consulting firms.
