LAPTOP Airdrop Holders Reportedly Sold About $3 Million in Tokens

Traders said recipients of the LAPTOP airdrop mostly sold their tokens after claiming them, with one trader writing that holders should sell if they owned LAPTOP. The post said airdrop wallets held about $790 million in tokens in total, and that each subscriber received about $400,000 in tokens before selling them. The trader also said he believed the official team created 1 million paid Substack accounts and that subscribers had sold about $3 million in tokens so far. The post added that the $400,000 figure may have been exaggerated and could instead reflect aggregated proceeds from multiple Sybil addresses. It also included market transaction records as evidence. The trader later highlighted another wallet, 0x8DA...A18d, which claimed 4,276 tokens for free and sold them for about $400,000. He said the same wallet sent 0.02 ETH to a second new wallet, 0xc27...b591, which also claimed 4,276 tokens and sold about $200,000 worth. Some users in the comments questioned whether the activity reflected coordinated dumping, though that was not confirmed. Bubblemaps said most of the main LAPTOP holder addresses were newly created wallets, and 60% had no prior activity. The 30-day claim window has not ended, and selling pressure appears to be increasing.
