Tether and Fasanara Capital Launch $400 Million StableFund for SME Lending

Tether and asset manager Fasanara Capital have launched StableFund, also called the Tether-Fasanara Lending Fund, a private credit fund backed by $400 million in combined capital from the two firms. The fund aims to raise up to $3 billion from third-party institutional investors and will target short-term, asset-backed credit for small and medium-sized enterprises through a global fintech lending network. According to Foresight News, Fasanara will serve as investment manager and deploy capital through its global fintech lending network, while Tether will act as co-sponsor, identify USDT-linked financing opportunities, and provide stablecoin settlement infrastructure, including on- and off-ramp connections and payment rail integration. The fund will embed USDT into SME and consumer lending processes on fintech platforms operating in more than 60 countries, focusing on borrowers that have long been underserved by traditional financing channels.
