South Korean mobile game developer Netmarble reported that its USDT holdings rose from about 3.17 million at the end of March to about 22.33 million at the end of June, a net increase of about 19.16 million in the second quarter. According to Foresight News, the company said it acquired about 62.16 million USDT in the first half of the year and reduced holdings by about 41.63 million through disposals and other decreases.
Netmarble said USDT is used to support the value of Marblex on-chain MBX and game tokens, encourage users to use its game services, and cover operating expenses. Related gains and losses are recorded as gains and losses from disposal of intangible assets.
