NIIF Appoints Former PAG Executive to Lead Global Fundraising

India's quasi-sovereign wealth fund, the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), has appointed Gauravjit Singh to lead global fundraising. According to Sina Finance, NIIF said Singh will serve as managing partner and head of global capital raising, focusing on maintaining existing investor relationships while expanding its base of domestic and overseas institutional investors. The fund is broadening its fundraising efforts to attract investors from Japan, Europe, and other regions. According to Sina Finance, NIIF has received about $3 billion in new investment commitments over the past two years, making it one of India's larger domestic alternative asset managers by fundraising scale.
