Volkswagen to Phase Out Seat Brand by End-2029

According to Sina Finance, media reports citing a confidential document submitted to the supervisory board said Volkswagen will end the Seat brand by the end of 2029 at the latest. The document said Seat would be phased out in an orderly, low-cost manner while continuing support for existing customers and fulfilling its existing obligations. A Volkswagen spokesperson declined to comment on the specific contents of the document, and the report said the Cupra sister brand will continue operating.
