STOCKS | Tencent Tops Southbound Turnover As Victory Giant, China Life, Akeso Reappear

Tencent (00700) saw a sharp jump in southbound trading turnover on the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, with combined buying and selling of HK$3.276 billion and a net inflow of HK$91.52 million, according to ETNet. Victory Giant Technology (02476) also made a rare appearance in the top 10 turnover lists for both the Shanghai and Shenzhen links. Southbound investors bought HK$874 million and sold HK$558 million through the Shanghai link, for a net inflow of HK$316 million, while the Shenzhen link recorded HK$331 million of buying, HK$193 million of selling and a net inflow of HK$138 million. China Life Insurance (02628) returned to the Shanghai link's top 10 turnover list for the first time in days, with southbound investors buying HK$89.87 million and selling HK$968 million, resulting in a net outflow of HK$878 million. Akeso (09926) also re-entered the Shenzhen link's top 10 turnover list for the first time in days, with southbound investors buying HK$428 million, selling HK$336 million and posting a net inflow of HK$91.9 million.
