Capital B issued about 36.22 million shares with attached warrants to global institutional investors at 0.58 euros per share, raising about 21 million euros and netting about 19.9 million euros after related expenses. According to ChainCatcher, the company said the proceeds are intended to support further Bitcoin purchases.
Strategic investors in the offering included early Bitcoin developer Adam Back and asset manager TOBAM, while Maxim Group served as sole placement agent. Capital B, a French listed Bitcoin treasury company, said the funds are planned for the purchase of about 270 additional Bitcoins, which would lift its holdings to about 3,415 Bitcoins after the transaction is completed.
