SwarmBase, an on-chain infrastructure layer for autonomous AI agents, has raised $7 million in funding. According to ChainCatcher, the round included participation from Castrum Capital, M2M Capital, Notch Ventures, and Becker Ventures, with Castrum Capital adding $4 million.
SwarmBase said its full-stack on-chain infrastructure protocol provides core modules for identity, reputation, coordination, and transactions, allowing AI agents to operate independently through audited smart contracts.
The company said the new capital will be used mainly for protocol development, ecosystem expansion, and preparation for an upcoming token TGE. Castrum Capital said SwarmBase is well positioned to support the next wave of agent AI development.
