According to Lianhe Zaobao citing AFP, multiple explosions were heard in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, early on Sunday, July 19, after the Ukrainian air force warned that ballistic missiles were heading toward the city. Kyiv's military administration said a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district was hit and a shopping and entertainment center in the Dniprovskyi district was also attacked, with no casualties reported so far.
Before the latest strike, Ukraine on Saturday sent explosive-laden drones to attack e-commerce warehouses in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions, killing eight people and causing fires. That same day, Russian forces struck several areas in southeastern Ukraine, killing five people and injuring nearly 20.
