U.S. President Donald Trump said crowds in Washington were “astonishing” during a celebration, adding that public love for the country had never been stronger.
According to Jin10, Trump wrote in a post that although the weather was hot, it was not as severe as expected. He praised an aerial flyover, saying it reached an unprecedented level, with outstanding pilots and very advanced equipment.
Trump said he would speak at around 10 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial. He also said the Reflecting Pool looked great despite having previously been damaged by “rioters” who vandalized public property.
Trump said that after the weekend’s events, the pool would be drained quickly and the damage repaired. He ended the post by wishing people a happy Independence Day and saying the country was stronger than ever.
