Two whale addresses were reported to be shorting Bitcoin (BTC) with combined positions exceeding $100 million on June 30. According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, monitoring data from Lookonchain showed the two addresses holding sizable leveraged short positions. One address beginning with 0x069a opened a short position of 900 BTC using 40x leverage, with the position valued at about $53.69 million. Another address beginning with 0x3e7a opened a short position of 800.75 BTC using 20x leverage, with the position valued at about $47.76 million.
