Hyperliquid whale positions totaled $4.21 billion, with exposure nearly evenly split between long and short positions, according to Coinglass data. According to ChainCatcher, long positions stood at $2.135 billion, accounting for 50.72% of total positions, while short positions were $2.074 billion, or 49.28%. The data showed aggregate unrealized profit and loss of -$102 million on longs and $22.98 million on shorts. One whale address, 0x082e..88, opened a 5x leveraged long position in HYPE at $38.6755 and had an unrealized profit and loss of $40.05 million at the time of the report.
