Serenity published a post reviewing a core long portfolio that includes SIVE, LPK, SOI, RPI, IQE, ALRIB, RIBER, and XFAB, with positioning focused on next-generation photonics, semiconductor substrates, power semiconductors, and edge AI computing. According to Odaily, Serenity described SIVE as a key photonics holding tied to 1.6T optical modules and co-packaged optics trends, and said it is embedded in the supply chains of multiple hyperscale cloud providers. Serenity said LPK, which it associated with laser glass substrates, has a near-monopoly position in the LIDE process, with major global manufacturers participating in validation and mass-production adoption. SOI (Soitec) was described as having structural advantages in silicon photonics substrates. On edge AI, Serenity said RPI (Raspberry Pi) could benefit from extending beyond education and development boards toward edge AI deployment. IQE was described as a key epitaxial wafer supplier serving multiple photonics and RF companies, and Serenity said it has gradually cleared risks and entered a revaluation phase. Serenity described RIBER as a leading MBE equipment provider, citing expansion in quantum and quantum dot applications and indirect validation from Microsoft-related quantum equipment procurement. XFAB was described as focused on SiC power semiconductors and silicon photonics foundry capabilities, with Serenity citing support from U.S. and European CHIPS-related policies and a potential opportunity to be evaluated by NVIDIA for photonics foundry work. Serenity said SOI has already completed part of its revaluation but remains a holding, while LPK and ALRIB were described as still undervalued. RPI was labeled an observation position, and Serenity said IQE and XFAB have medium- to long-term repricing potential. Serenity added that SIVE has the highest upside elasticity, citing photonics vertical integration and supply-chain expansion.
