Binance Charity and Binance Philippines Launch Mindanao Earthquake Relief Initiative

Binance Blog published a new article, announcing a relief initiative to support communities affected by the June 8, 2026 earthquakes in southern Mindanao. Binance Charity and Binance Philippines by BlockShoals said the program aims to provide up to 4 million Pesos in financial assistance and relief goods for impacted families and local communities as they address urgent needs and begin recovery efforts in the days ahead. The initiative will combine blockchain-powered emergency financial support with the distribution of essential supplies, with the Philippine Red Cross participating as a partner to help deliver food and other necessities. Binance Philippines by BlockShoals said it will use blockchain technology to distribute aid quickly, transparently, and efficiently, positioning the approach as a way to improve speed and accountability in emergency response. The article also referenced similar relief efforts conducted in 2025 after earthquakes that affected Northern Cebu and offshore Davao Oriental, where blockchain-based assistance was used to deliver support to impacted communities.
