Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse intensified criticism of JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, accusing him of mischaracterizing the proposed CLARITY Act, a US crypto market framework. According to BeInCrypto, Garlinghouse said Dimon’s claims that the bill would reduce compliance and make it easier to “do bad things” are “not true,” calling it intentional misrepresentation or negligence.
Dimon said, “We will fight the CLARITY Act.” BeInCrypto reported Congress faces a compressed calendar before the August recess, while Ripple is expanding into liquidity products, AI integrations for payments, and its RLUSD stablecoin initiative.
