BlackRock has launched a new space-themed exchange-traded fund (ETF) for investors in Europe.
According to Jin10, Bloomberg reported on June 9 that the product uses a rapid inclusion mechanism for newly listed stocks, aiming to give investors a more timely and flexible way to allocate to the space economy.
Market analysts said the ETF could serve as a channel for investors seeking early exposure to newly listed space companies such as SpaceX.
Bloomberg Intelligence data showed that since the start of this year, global space-themed ETFs have recorded about $8 billion in net inflows, exceeding inflows into defense-focused ETFs. Among 39 ETF themes tracked by Bloomberg Intelligence, space ranked second by net inflows, while artificial intelligence-themed ETFs ranked first.
