Everest Medicines (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Everest Medicines (1952), has announced an exclusive licensing and collaboration agreement with U.S.-based Travere Therapeutics (TVTX). Under the agreement, Travere is granted exclusive global rights, excluding Greater China and certain East and Southeast Asian countries, to develop and commercialize civorebrutinib, also known as EVER 001. According to Ming Pao, Everest Medicines will receive an upfront payment of $112.5 million and is eligible for up to $1.03 billion in development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments across up to five indications. Additionally, Everest Medicines will earn tiered royalties based on future annual net sales thresholds, ranging from high single digits to double digits.
