Bitdeer has announced a management change, with current Chief Financial Officer Jianchun Liu set to step down at the end of June and transition to an advisory role. According to Odaily, the company has appointed Michael Potter, a seasoned executive in technology and finance, as the new CFO.
Potter previously served as CFO at Corsair Gaming from 2019 to 2025, where he led the company's IPO and various capital market transactions. He also has financial management experience at several technology and semiconductor firms, including Lattice Semiconductor and Honeywell.
In market response, Bitdeer's stock fell approximately 3% in early trading but remains within its six-month high range. Analysts suggest that the CFO transition may further strengthen the company's capital market narrative as it shifts towards AI infrastructure.
