Deploi Plans EUR 1 Billion Note Programme for 2026 on Polygon

Deploi, a leading institutional infrastructure provider for digital private credit, has unveiled its direct issuance framework on Polygon, marking a significant step in its EUR 1 billion note programme planned for 2026. According to Cointelegraph, this initiative follows the allocation of ISINs from Nasdaq CSD for Deploi's inaugural UK Consumer Credit Notes. The first issuance, Series 2026/CON/001, facilitates regulated digital debt issuance for consumer credit assets, with individual notes capped at EUR 5 million. This issuance is part of Deploi’s broader strategy to expand its capacity to EUR 5 billion, contingent on the completion of its global issuance infrastructure by the end of Q3 2026. Deploi's infrastructure aims to modernize the operational framework of private credit by replacing outdated manual fund structures with programmable issuance, settlement, servicing, and risk-management systems. Oskars Jepsis, Founder of Deploi, emphasized the need for faster execution, greater transparency, and flexible access to credit opportunities, stating that Deploi is building infrastructure to replace fragmented processes with scalable digital issuance and settlement rails tailored for modern private credit markets. The infrastructure is anchored on EVM-compatible chains, with Polygon serving as the initial settlement layer, and plans are underway to expand to Canton Network infrastructure. Assetera, the EU-regulated DLT trading platform licensed under the MiFID II framework, facilitates the issuance and settlement of these notes, providing compliant access for European investors. Thomas Labenbacher, CEO of Assetera, highlighted the structural barriers that have historically made private credit inaccessible to most European investors, such as high minimums, opacity, and illiquidity. By offering regulated infrastructure for Deploi's instruments, Assetera aims to remove these barriers while maintaining full MiFID II compliance, demonstrating the potential of regulated DLT infrastructure to distribute institutional-grade yield products at scale across Europe. Marc Boiron, CEO at Polygon Labs, noted that Deploi's direct issuance onchain with Polygon represents a clear step toward making private credit markets more efficient, transparent, and accessible for institutional participants. Deploi enters the market with growing institutional demand and active issuance momentum, including an initial live product focused on UK consumer credit, notes issued in tranches of up to EUR 5 million, and approximately EUR 100 million in additional issuance volume through Assetera lined up over the next six months. Target yields range from 6–18%, depending on underlying asset structures, with buy-side engagement from digital asset and yield-focused institutional investors.
