Pendle Launches srRoyAPYUSD with Protected Fixed Income Exposure

Pendle, a yield trading protocol, has announced the official launch of srRoyAPYUSD, supported by Royco Protocol, with a maturity date in November 2026. According to Foresight News, this introduction brings protected fixed income exposure of STRC tokens to Pendle's yield trading layer. Royco has divided apyUSD into two tranches: Senior and Junior. The srRoyAPYUSD serves as the Senior capital, enjoying protected returns and only bearing losses after the Junior capital is exhausted. In the event of a drawdown in apyUSD, the system will initiate a 30-day observation period, suspending withdrawals from Senior accounts and redirecting all returns to the Junior layer to absorb losses first.
