South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo on Thursday instructed economic officials to secure crude oil supplies for the coming months as tensions in the Middle East rise again. According to Sina Finance, Han said South Korea already has enough crude oil stockpiled to last until the end of October, with reserves at more than 90% of the level seen a year earlier. She added that if tensions in the Middle East continue, more work will be needed to secure crude supplies after October. Han also told officials to closely monitor conditions in key shipping routes such as the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, as well as supply and demand for key raw materials, while trying to minimize the negative impact of higher oil prices. Han said the government also needs to stabilize consumer goods prices before the upcoming Chuseok holiday and take strict action against any behavior that disrupts price stability.

He described new cloud providers as structural short sellers of GPUs, while on-demand platforms and the application layer are long compute. He said that for every $100 spent on inference at the application layer, about $45 flows to the on-demand layer, about $50 to the new cloud or GPU layer, and about $5 to routing layers such as OpenRouter. Yu also said NVIDIA can be viewed as the central bank of compute and has announced residual value support of up to 25%. He added that physical delivery has a more durable moat, with index products, cash-settled exchanges, and financing tools expected to follow. He said participants include SF Compute, Vast AI, Runpod, and Compute Exchange, and noted that the compute market does not require mandatory price transparency, which could increase basis risk.

Shoal Research said bots account for about 60% of HTML content HTTP requests on Cloudflare’s network, while humans account for 38.2%. According to ChainCatcher, Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince had previously predicted bot traffic would exceed human traffic in 2027, and later said agent traffic growth had already pushed bots ahead of human traffic. Pew research found AI summaries reduced click-through rates from 15% to 8%. The report also said the current model of using robots.txt and content in exchange for traffic is difficult to sustain. It described lawsuits and private licensing as temporary measures, and said pay-per-request models are split between closed markets with keys and open protocols using HTTP 402 and stablecoins, such as x402 and MPP. Most websites, it said, still either provide access for free or block crawlers.

Blockchain analytics platform Allium released a report on Solana's RWA ecosystem on September 8, 2026. According to ChainCatcher, Solana accounted for about 12% of the total on-chain tokenized real-world asset market by market value and ranked among the leaders by trading volume. In the 12 months through August 18, 2026, Solana recorded $14.7 billion in on-chain RWA spot trading volume and 42.6 million transactions, compared with about $46 billion and 91 million across all chains, respectively. The report said both figures were higher than those of other chains. The report covered all 37 issuers active on-chain at the time. BlackRock-related assets were valued at about $741 million during the period but saw no trading activity. Two private credit issuers together generated about $5.4 billion in turnover. About 63% of tokenized stock trading volume on Solana occurred when U.S. exchanges were closed.
