Metaschool, which is headquartered in Singapore, was founded in January 2022 by Fatima , a software engineer who has worked at the intersection of technology, community and content for the past 10 years. She previously founded TechJuice, Pakistan’s biggest startup media company and created a social community of over 700,000 techies.
Metaschool makes it easy for developers to learn, build and ship dApps to prepare them for opportunities in the emerging Web3 ecosystem. Within six months of launch, 74,000 developers across 50 countries have signed up on Metaschool to build dApps.
→ Bell Beh (CEO, BuzzAR)
As a lawyer turned entrepreneur, Bell Beh is CEO of BuzzAR, a metaverse startup. BuzzAR is a Singapore-based women-led startup focused on building the next generation of Immersive Marketing Experiences through Pop Up Metaverse. BuzzAR has raised US$3.8M in seed funding led by F50 Elevate.
BuzzAR augments faces and places, is both disrupting and complementing the Out-Of-Home (OOH) media, making advertisements fun and interactive. Some recent wins for the team include 2 big traditional marketing firms signing with BuzzAR solutions along with governments, region’s largest billboard operators, collaborating to empower the next generation’s immersive experience.
→ Belinda Lim (Co-founder, Me3)
Belinda’s passion is to bridge disruptive technologies to the masses. She is a serial entrepreneur, Singapore Representative of Women in Blockchain Asia and the co-founder of Me3.io, a non-custodial wallet company which is designed with Web 2.0 users in mind by removing the complexities normally associated with Web3 applications. Me3.io is invested by the likes of Kakao Games (Bora Network), Evos and Tokocrypto.
