Blockchain – Solving for the Future.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Blockchain technology is an advanced database mechanism that allows transparent information sharing within a business network. A blockchain database stores data in blocks that are linked together in a chain. The data is chronologically consistent because you cannot delete or modify the chain without consensus from the network. As a result, you can use blockchain technology to create an unalterable or immutable ledger for various use-cases.

Traditionally, blockchain has a tied connotation to cryptocurrencies and hence is seen to be limited beyond such use-cases. The hackathon aims to correct this perception by inviting teams to identify blockchain use-cases across a span of real-world issues. The teams may marry other technologies, i.e. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR), Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud/Edge Computing, Post-Quantum technologies, Low/No-Code and more to provide innovative solutions.

CHALLENGE

For this hackathon, teams are to propose innovative and creative blockchain solutions or tools to address existing or identified real-world issues or use-cases. There is no limitation on which blockchain or technology stack to develop or deploy on. The aim of the Singapore Blockchain Innovation Challenge 2023 is to unleash one’s innovation and creativity so go crazy with the ideas!!!
