According to CNBC, ticket prices for Macklemore's upcoming October concert at Red Rocks in Colorado rose after he was dropped from the remainder of Ed Sheeran's Loop tour over pro-Palestine comments made onstage earlier this month. Keith Pagello, founder of TicketData, said the get-in price for the show climbed 45% in the past three days, from $108 to $157, while secondary market prices for the rest of Sheeran's concerts fell at nine of the 10 remaining venues. Macklemore said on social media on Monday that he was removed after stadium owners threatened to cancel shows following remarks he made during a performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sept. 4, and he said on Thursday that he will donate his $1 million in tour earnings to Palestinian aid organizations. Sheeran said in an Instagram post Wednesday that the decision to remove Macklemore was the promoter's, not his own.
